Vmax: Maximum voltage level.
Vmin: Minimum voltage level.
Vmid: Medium voltage level.
Vamp: The voltage amplitude from waveform top to bottom.
Vtop: The voltage value from waveform top level to GND (Ground).
Vbase: The voltage value from waveform base level to GND (Ground).
Over-shoot: The ratio between (Vmax – Vtop) and voltage amplitude (Vamp) in
percentage
Pre-shoot: The ratio between (Vmin – Vbase) and voltage amplitude (Vamp) in
percentage
Average: The average amplitude of signal within 1 cycle.
Vrms: Root-mean-squarevalue (effective value).
7.3 Time parameter
Below are the automatically measured timing parameter for the UTD2000 series DSO
and its definitions:
Figure 7-3 Timing Parameter Diagram
RiseTime: The time of waveform amplitude rising from 10% to 90%.
FallTime: The time of waveform amplitude falling from 90% to 10%.
+Width: The width of positive pulse at amplitude of 50%.
-Width: The width of negative pulse at amplitude of 50%.
Delay (rising edge): The delay time between rising edges. Delay (falling edge): the delay
time between falling edges.
+Duty: The specific value of positive pulse width and cycle.
-Duty: The specific value of negative pulse width and cycle.
