■ Send all characters up to a string
B9 Include in the output message all characters from the input message,
starting with the character at the current cursor position and continuing to,
but not including, the search string “s...s.” The cursor is moved forward to
the beginning of the “s...s” string. Syntax = B9nnnns...s where nnnn stands
for the length of the string, and s...s stands for the string to be matched.
The string is made up of hex values for the characters in the string. Refer to
the ASCII Conversion Chart (Code Page 1252) for decimal, hex and
character codes.
B9 Example: Send all characters up to a defined string
Using the bar code above, send all characters up to but not including “AB.”
Command string: B900024142
B9 is the “Send all characters up to a string” command
0002 is the length of the string (2 characters)
41 is the hex value for A
42 is the hex value for B
