7 Troubleshooting
UR e-Series Robots with Battery Supply
Symptom
Possible Cause(s)
PSU constantly delivers 48V to the SCB.
The pins, RC1, and RC2 in the CN51 on the PSU are not
connected.
Fails during power-up
Teach Pendant is incorrectly connected.
The 48V power supply (including its control wires) may be
incorrectly connected.
48V voltage reverse polarity.
Fails during operation
The input voltage for the 48V supply drops below 19V.
The configuration file is modified incorrectly.
Error: Short circuit in robot detected
Reverse polarity for robot supply.
Reverse polarity for energy eater.
Error C740A0
The program running on the robot requires more than 1000W
Try to decrease the Joint acc. and Joint speed.
System seems unstable
The 48V power supply is unstable.
Voltage supply not within +/- 1% tolerance.
Incorrect grounding (this may be caused by ground-loops or
loose screws).
