number
is
an alphanumeric
number that
can
assist
in
determining the date
of
manufacture
of your
UNIVERSAL
engine.
The
first character after the
dash
indicates the decade [A=1960s, B=1970s, C=1980s,
D:::::!
990s,
etc.:.],
the second
character
represents the
year
in
the decade, and the fourth and fifth numbers represent the
month
of
manufacture.
