33. Connect the power supply cord and raise and lower the bowl be turning the selector switch.
The mechanism should run freely.
34. raise the bowl all the way. Check the clearance between the bottom of the bowl and the batter
beater. The clearance should be 3/16 +-1/16. If the clearance is incorrect, adjust the clearance per
the instructions in section 2, Mechanics Maintenance “BOWL LIFT ADJUSTMENT” on
page 2.4.
35. Make sure the bowl lift safety switch is actuated by the retainer plate when the bowl is raised
completely
. If the switch is not actuated, or the lever on the switch is being bent, adjust the
bracket by loosening the screws and raising or lowering the plate until the switch actuates.
NOTE: The bowl should continue to rase 1/8 inch after the switch is actuated.
36. Check the slide down limit switch. Run the slide down, the motor should shut off 1/8 to 1/16
inch before the slide bottoms out in the frame. If not adjust the down limit switch by loosening
the screws in the switch mounting plate and sliding the switch up or down.
