9. Maintenance
Aer being programmed, the soener works fully automatic.
The basic maintenance activities of the user's are:
ź salt level checking in a brine tank – once a week
ź periodic salt refill, if necessary
ź evaluation of the purity of the pre-filter, its periodic replacement
Salt refilling is a basic maintenance operation. If the salt in the tank runs out, the resin will not regenerate and the
device will not soen water. Keep in mind to mix the remaining salt in the brine tank to prevent salt bridging. The salt
should be added so that no dirt gets into the tank. Salt should be poured until the water level is about 4cm above the
salt level. If the brine tank got dirty, rinse it with clean water. Mind the salt tablets did not get into the well of the
floating valve. For this purpose, add salt only with the well covered with a special cover.
To ensure the correct operation of the soener, it is necessary to install a sediment pre-filter on the feedwater supply
pipe. The filter protects the control head and the resin from mechanical impurities. Observation of the contamination
state of the filter cartridge takes place in most of the filters in a visual way.
