Why my Utilitech Flood Light doesn't turn on?
- CChristopher MarshallAug 3, 2025
If your Utilitech Flood Light isn't turning on, several factors could be at play. First, ensure the light switch is in the 'on' position. Next, check the bulb to see if it's either loose or burned out; try re-tightening it or replacing it altogether. Also, verify that the fuse hasn't blown or the circuit breaker hasn't been turned off; replace the fuse or switch the breaker back on if necessary. For new installations, double-check the wiring to ensure it's correct. If it's daytime, the daylight turn-off feature might be active, so check again after dark. Ensure the sensor adequately covers the desired area by re-aiming it. Finally, if wall-mounted, make sure the lamp head has been rotated 30° downward, and then change the bulb.
