Pump not mounted solidly
Do not mount pump on a wooden platform.
Securely mount on concrete platform for
quietest performance
Cavitation
Pump could be cavitating (sucking air); make
sure inlet piping is in water, unobstructed, and
that the pump is not trying to lift water more
than 10 ft.
