22. Ski Pole (oponal)
Your boat may come equipped with an oponal ski pole for water skiing. To use, remove the ski pole
deck plate, located on centerline in front of the motorwell. The ski pylon slides into the deck plate and
connects to the ski tow base, located in the bilge.
The ski tow deck plate has rubber O-ring gaskets to minimize the amount of water that could
potenally enter the bilge. Uern® suggests that prior to installing or removing the ski pylon, spray
water on the ski pole to help slide it through the deck plate.
When the ski pole is not in use, it can be stored in the L-lounge.
The ski pylon is only used for water skiing or wakeboarding. If you are tubing or engaging in other
recreaonal towing, Uern® recommends that you aach the tow rope to the stern eyes at the
transom of your boat.
Remove the ski pylon from the base before raising engine to
trailer mode to avoid any damage to the engine cowl.
Only tow water skis or wakeboards. Do not tow parasails,
kits, or other boats. Do not tow more than two persons at
one me. Use cauon with skier in tow as rope may snap
back into cockpit when released. Failure to follow these
guidelines may result in injury or death.
23. Canvas
A bimini with frame and vinyl panels that fully encloses the cockpit can be installed on your boat.
Bimini
When not in use, the bimini stores under the canvas storage hatch where it does not interfere with
the use of the boat. In this posion, always make sure that the bimini is secured in the canvas boot. To
