unit.
4.2 Installation site

Caution:
Risk of material damage caused by aggres-
sive vapours or dust.
Aggressive vapours and dust in the installa-
tion room can cause corrosion damage to the
electric domestic hot water cylinder.
> Make sure that the installation room is free
of aggressive vapours and dust.

Caution:
Risk of frost damage to the unit.
If an electric domestic hot water cylinder is
placed out of operation for a relatively long
period of time in an unheated room in cold
weather, the water in the unit and pipes may
freeze. This would result in damage to the
unit.
> Install the unit in a permanently frost-free
room.

In rooms with a bath or shower, the electric
domestic hot water cylinder must be installed
in accordance with all relevant legal require-
ments, e.g. VDE 0100, Part 701 (UK equivalent
= BS 7671 Section 601.
