Changing the probe
To change the probe:
1. Switch off GM70.
2. Detach the probe as follows:
Loosen the plastic probe fastener by unscrewing it about 5 turns.
Take a firm hold from the base of the probe and pull strongly until the probe comes loose.
3. Insert a new probe to the handle as deep as possible. Turn the probe inside the handle until you feel that a step
in the probe connector snaps into the groove of the probe handle connector and locks the probe.
4. Tighten the probe fastener.
5. Switch on GM70.

1 Unscrew the probe fastener (about 5 turns)
2 Pull the probe out firmly.
Changing the probe filter
Replacement filters can be ordered from Vaisala. For ordering information, see Spare parts and accessories.
1. Remove the plastic grid by pulling it out.
2. Remove the filter paper.
3. Insert a new filter paper and plastic grid.
Cleaning
Wipe the plastic parts of the device with a damp paper or towel. Mild washing agents can be used. Do not let water flow
down to electronics through the button openings.
