The VAMA company distinguishes between two types of vacuum bags:
1. Biodegradable and compostable sealed edge bags
2. Classic PA/PE sealed edge bags
With our new biodegradable and compostable vacuum bags, we are helping to protect our
environment. They have the same barrier properties as classic PA/PE vacuum bags and keep
the packaged food products fresh and appetizing - all in a sustainable and environmentally
friendly manner.
The film was developed under the aspects of the European standard EN 13432 (09-2000) and
subsequently certified by TÜV. The compostability label is a guarantee that the vacuum bags
have been made from compostable film.
