process by pressing the
chamber lid shut.
• Vacuuming of the bottle or
vacuuming container was
not started.
• Start vacuuming by pres-
sing the rotary knob.
• A function or favorite was
not selected.
• Select a function or a
favorite.
• The machine is defective. • Have the machine inspec-
ted by the manufacturer or
by a service center authori-
zed by the manufacturer.
The chamber lid is closed
and is not aspirated
even though the pump is
running.
• The chamber lid has not
been pressed shut tightly or
long enough.
• Press the chamber lid firmly
shut and hold for 2 - 3
seconds.
• The chamber lid gasket is
contaminated.
• Clean the chamber lid
gasket.
• The chamber lid gasket is
damaged.
• Change the chamber lid
gasket.
The sealing seam is un-
even and undulating.
• The Teflon tape on the
sealing bar is worn.
