The machine will not turn
on.
The power plug is
unplugged.
Plug in the power plug.
The fuse is defective. Insert a new fuse; see Sec-

The power cable is
defective.
Use a new power cable; see
Section 9 “SPARE PARTS
AND ACCESSORIES”,
page 58.
The machine is defective. Have the machine inspec-
ted by the manufacturer or
by a service center authori-
zed by the manufacturer.
The machine does not
vacuum.
The machine is switched
o.
Switch on the machine.
The packaging process was
not started.
Start the packaging
process by pressing the
chamber lid shut.
Vacuuming of the bottle or
vacuuming container was
not started.
Start vacuuming by pres-
sing the rotary knob.
A function or favorite was
not selected.
Select a function or a
favorite.
The machine is defective. Have the machine inspec-
ted by the manufacturer or
by a service center authori-
zed by the manufacturer.
The chamber lid is closed
and is not aspirated
even though the pump is
running.
The chamber lid has not
been pressed shut tightly or
long enough.
Press the chamber lid firmly
shut and hold for 2 - 3
seconds.
The chamber lid gasket is
contaminated.
Clean the chamber lid
gasket.
The chamber lid gasket is
damaged.
Change the chamber lid
gasket.
The sealing seam is un-
even and undulating.
The Teflon tape on the
sealing bar is worn.
