3- CHARGER STATUS AND COLOUR
CODE
LITE chargers come with a LIGHT INDICATOR enabling you to check its status according to the
following colour code:
NORMAL STATUS
AVAILABLE (Green): The charger is either ready to use, is not connected to a vehicle, or is
connected but hasn’t detected the vehicle because the cable is locked. (Consult section 7.1
SETTINGS of this USER GUIDE for more information on the Cable Lock Control).
CONNECTED (Blue): The charger has detected that the vehicle is connected, but it is not currently
charging. There are two reasons for the charger being in this status:
A schedule is active and the charger is not currently within the period programmed for its
daily charge.
The vehicle has no power input; there may be several reasons for this, for example:
· The battery is full.
· The vehicle has its own charge schedule, or the charge has been stopped for
technical reasons.
· There is no available household power due to other home demands having
exceeded the contracted power.
For more information on this point, consult section 7.1 SETTINGS of this USER GUIDE.
The charger will remain in this status from the time of completing the charge until the charging
cable is disconnected.
CHARGING (Flashing blue): The charging process has started and the vehicle battery is charging
TEMPORARY STATUS
RESTARTING (Sweeping green + Initial buzz): The charger is restarting. This process will occur
when instructed to do so from the SETTINGS screen in the VELTIUM App, when the electric
power is restored (or when the charger is booted up for the rst time) or following a rmware
update. This process can take 20 to 30 seconds depending on the charger model.
UPDATING rmware (Flashing purple): The charger is updating the rmware. This process will
occur when instructed to do so from the SETTINGS screen in the VELTIUM App (or automatically
in the LITE Uno or LITE Kubo chargers when they are congured to do so and are connected to
the Internet). The charger will automatically reboot at the end of the process. This process can
take from 5 to 10 minutes depending on the charger model.
CONNECTING TO THE METER SET (Sweeping green from the centre out): The charger is locating
the Meter Set and is trying to connect to it. This process can take up to 5 minutes.
If the indicator light displays a status other than described here, consult
the 8. TROUBLESHOOTING section of this USER GUIDE.
