If you have two remote controls with dierent products
registered in them, you can copy the contents from one to
the other and vice versa. Then all products can be oper-
ated with both remote controls.
The example shows how to copy the products from re-
mote control A to remote control B and at the same time
maintain the settings and the programs of both remote
controls.
Step 1: Change security key in remote controls A and B
Change the security key in both remote controls so that
they have the same security key, see section Security key.
Step 2: Register the products in remote control A
Register all products in remote control A by choosing:
If in doubt, see section Registering new products.
Remote control A can now operate both the products
from remote control B and the products it could already
operate.
Step 3: Register the products in remote control B
Register all products in remote control B by choosing:
Remote control B can now also operate both the products
from remote control A and the products it could already
operate.
After this, both remote controls can operate all products.
Copying to a remote control in operation
Note: With the procedure shown, only the products are
copied from remote control A to remote control B and
vice versa.
If you want an exact copy of remote control A with all
personal settings such as Names, Rooms and Groups, you
must proceed dierently after step 2. First reset remote
control B, see section Resetting the remote control. Then
copy from remote control A as described in section Copy-
ing to a new remote control.
