In countries with no signal your watch can be set manually.
The watch automatically receives the time signal at 3am every day to maintain accurate
timing.
If the watch does not set automatically it could be because it has not received an update
at 3am due to a weak signal. This could be due to where the watch is positioned. It is
recommended that the watch should be left by a window in order to receive the strongest
possible signal.
Certain electrical equipment such as a television or computer, and some metallic objects
may affect the radio signal, so it is advised that the watch is not left by such equipment.
The watch time and date can be set manually and details of how to do this are included
below.
This watch is available with either a leather strap (CW135) or a metallic bracelet strap
(CW135BR).
Orientation
With the front of the watch facing towards you (the buckle part of the strap should be
furthest away from you) you will notice the following buttons:
S1: Time Announcement button (this is located at the 2 o'clock position (top right)). The
watch will speak the hour and minute when this button is pressed.
S2: Date Announcement button (this is located at the 4 o'clock position (bottom right)).
The watch announces the day, month, date and year after a signal is updated.
Please note: There is no "Day talking" function after a new battery has been installed
until it gets a first signal update.
Watch buttons S3 and S4 are flush with the watchcase and you will need to press these
with a pointer (such as a pen or opened out paper clip).
S3: Alarm (this is located at the 10 o'clock position (top left)). Press this recessed button
once and the watch will speak the alarm time that has been set. If the alarm is turned off
the watch will announce "Alarm is off".
