Once all the hands are at the 12 o’clock position, press and release S4 (8 o’clock) then
press and hold S3 (10 o’clock) for three seconds which may start the second hand ticking
normally. Or once again send it to fast spin. This will depend on what time of day it is,
the watch hands will spin until they reach the time the watch was manufactured.
Your watch is now ready to receive the radio signal.
From December 2018 you can find a link on www.talkingwatchshop.co.uk to a
whiteboard presentation on how to synchronise your watch.
Not receiving time signal
This may be due to:
Being outside of the UK, Germany, USA and Japan (60 KHz only) signal area.
Being in a built up area.
Metal objects blocking the radio signal.
Interference by computer monitor or TV.
Ensure that the watch is left by a window, as this gives the best reception, you may have
to try different windows in the house to gauge which is best. Please note that reception is
always better at night. If your watch is unable to make contact with the radio signal, it will
continue to function in the same way as a standard watch. The time will then be
corrected the next time your watch receives the time signal and updates.
Using the metallic bracelet strap
The clasp on the metallic bracelet strap is located centrally, either side of the bracelet
links. To undo the clasp, unclip the small catch over the clasp and pull it up. You can feel
where the front of the catch is as there is a small recessed area, semi-circular in shape,
in front of it. Once lifted feel underneath the opened catch and you will feel a small
metallic catch protruding. This is about 1cm away from the semi-circular recess. Pull this
catch away from the other opened catch and the strap will open. Simply slide the watch
over your wrist and then fold the opened part of the strap until it clicks shut. Finally, close
the catch back over the clasp.
