The bracelet is adjustable. We recommend that this is done by a jeweller or watch
specialist as it requires tools to remove and replace the spring loaded adjustment bar.
The spring loaded adjustment bar can be moved into different location holes to adjust the
size of the bracelet to fit most wrists.
Caring for your watch
Talking watches are not water-resistant and should not be kept in a damp place or
immersed in water. Should the watch accidentally become wet, wipe dry quickly and do
not operate until dry.
Strap and battery replacement
Replacement watch straps are available from jewellers or watch specialists. It is also
recommended that you take your watch to a watch specialist or jeweller should you wish
to have links removed from the bracelet strap.
This watch uses a CR2032 type battery. It is recommended that trained jewellers or
watch specialists should fit new batteries to avoid any damage to the watch. A
replacement battery are available from Verbalise. Please note: We does not guarantee
batteries.
Remove the four screws with a small cross headed screwdriver. Open the watch at the
back and carefully remove the bottom part, making sure you do not lose the waterproof
seal.
Take care not to damage the two springs that make contact with the watch back speaker.
Use tweezers to make contact between the Atomic Time Module (ATM) and the negative
battery contact spring (-VE).
Pick up the battery spring on the right and take out the battery and insert a new one
(noting the polarity”+” is up).
Now push the battery spring down. Before you put the case-back on again, make sure
the waterproof seal is correctly in place.
The battery life will depend on how often you use the talking function.
The watch will not work after a battery has been replaced until the following has
been carried out.
