7.6 Releasing a stuck tool magazine
In case a tool magazine got stuck on the holder, use
the provided grub screw and allen key in the accessory
case to release the tool magazine:
1. Have ready:
n
The provided grub screw
n
The provided allen key
n
A flat blunt tool (e.g. a slot screwdriver)
2. Open the working chamber door.
3. Remove machining residues from the tool
magazine.
4. Use the flat blunt tool to remove the protective cap
and put the cap aside within reach.

5. Orient the grub screw so that the screw head
points towards you and place it in the opening.
6. With the allen key, screw in the grub screw.

The tool magazine is released.
7. Remove the tool magazine from the tool magazine
holder.
8. With the allen key, unscrew the grub screw and
remove it from the tool magazine.

9. Cover the opening with the protective cap. If the
cap is damaged, use a provided spare cap
(7.5mm).
