Oil change
Changing the engine oil (Fig. 18)
a) Put the pressure washer on a at, level surface.
b) Drain the oil while the engine is warm to assure rapid and complete draining.
c) Place an oil pan or a suitable container underneath the pressure washer's oil drain plug.
d) Unscrew the oil drain plug and lter cap to drain the engine oil.
e) Use a clean cloth to wipe o any dirt from the oil drain plug and lter cap, then re-tighten the
drain plug.
f) Rell with the recommended engine oil and check the oil level.

Air filter
A dirty air lter will restrict airow to the carburettor. To
prevent poor engine performance or damage due to a
carburettor malfunction, service the air lter regularly. Refer
to the Maintenance Schedule for regular service intervals.
a) Remove the air lter cover
b) Remove the foam air lter (1).
c) Wash the lter element using household soap and
warm water.
d) Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
e) Lightly apply clean engine oil on to the foam lter and
squeeze out the excess oil.
f) Reinstall the air lter and replace the air lter cover.
Note:
The engine will smoke during start-up if too much
oil is left in the lter. Squeeze out all excess oil from the
lter.
The Paper air lter (2) needs to be replaced every 12
months or 200 hr of use
