General Safety
WARNING
- Risk of injection or injury – Fuel Warnings
FUEL OUTDOORS. Fill fuel tank outdoors – never indoors. Fuel vapours can ignite if they
collect inside an enclosure. Explosion can result.
USE APPROVED CONTAINER. Never pump fuel directly into fuel tank at service station.
Static charge can build and ignite fuel. Use an approved fuel container to transfer fuel to the
engine.
RUNNING / HOT ENGINE. A running engine is hot enough to ignite fuel. Never add fuel or
remove fuel cap if engine is running or still hot. Stop the engine and allow it to cool, at least
ve minutes before adding fuel.
HEAT / FLAMES / SPARKS. Stay away from sources of heat, ame, or sparks while adding
fuel. Fuel vapour is easily ignited.
DO NOT OVERFILL THE FUEL TANK. Only ll with fuel to the top of the fuel strainer. The
fuel cap has a small ventilation hole in it to prevent fuel lock. If The fuel tank is over lled it
may lead to a spillage from the fuel cap when the engine is started.
REPLACE CAP. Replace fuel cap securely before starting engine.
SPILLS. Clean up fuel spills immediately. Move pressure washer away from spilled fuel
on the ground. Wipe fuel o󰀨 engine and wait 5 minutes for excess fuel to evaporate before
starting engine. Fuel soaked rags should be disposed of properly.
FUEL ON SKIN / CLOTHES. Fuel may irritate skin and is also a re hazard. If fuel is spilled
on your skin or clothes, change clothes and wash skin immediately.
FUEL STORAGE. Store fuel in a cool, dry place in an approved, tightly sealed container.
MOVE AWAY FROM FUELLING SITE BEFORE STARTING TOOL. Don’t smoke while
refuelling.

- Risk of injection or injury – Do not use in areas with poor ventilation.
DO NOT USE IN CONFINED SPACES OR AREAS WITH POOR VENTILATION. When
running, the engine gives o󰀨 carbon monoxide gas which is toxic. Carbon monoxide
poisoning can kill. If the operator or people nearby feel sick, dizzy, or weak while the
pressure washer is running, turn o󰀨 the pressure washer if possible, and immediately move
everybody away into the fresh air. Seek medical attention!
Inspect and prepare pressure washer before each use as directed in this manual.
Do not use for spraying ammable or corrosive chemicals in the pressure washer. This can
lead to dangerous situations and/or damage to the pressure washer.
Do not run pressure washer while unattended. The operation of the pressure washer should
always be monitored to ensure safe operation.
Follow instructions for safety when refuelling the engine.
Fuel is amable and can explode. Always use caution when handling fuel. Do not start
pressure washer until ready to use. This will avoiod intentional release of water.
If you are starting a warm engine, stay clear of mu󰀪er. It may still be hot enough to burn.
Never operate of let anynone else operate the pressure washer while under the inuence of
alcohol, drugs or medication.
While adjusting or repairing. Turn o󰀨 engine and remove spark plug cap before cleaning,
inspecting or servicing the pressure washer.
