1. Slip the steering wheel over steering shaft and align wheel hole
over shaft hole.
2. Insert roll pin into the holes and drive through wheel and shaft
until 2mm protrudes each side.
INSTALLING
THE
BATTERY
1. Remove the battery from inside the bonnet as follows :-
• (a) undo bonnet straps on both sides of mower, and lift bonnet
up.
• (b) remove cable terminals from battery .
• (c) remove nyloc nuts and remove clamp bar.
2. Fill battery with Electrolyte.
This should be done as follows
DANGER

Keep
sparks,
flames
and
cigarettes
away.
Charge
in
VENTILATED
area.
1. Remove filler caps from battery and slowly pour in acid. Fill to
a level that covers the plates .
2. Allow battery to stand 1/2 hour.
3. Rock battery to disperse bubbles and top-up to its original level.
4. Charge battery at a constant rate of 4 amps for 3 hours
connecting the red positive (
+ ) lead of charger to ( + ) termina l
of battery and black negative (
-)
lead of the charger to
(-)
terminal of battery .

5. Replace filler caps.
6. Wash away any spilt acid with water and wipe dry.
7. Place battery inside bonnet and secure with clamp bar.
8. Install the positive (red) cable to the
(+)
terminal and the
negative (black) cable to the
(-
) terminal. Secure for good
electrical contact.
9. Close bonnet.
