1. Route pipes so that they can be
completely vented. Install at least
oneairventvalvewithshut-off
facility at the highest point of the
system. Insta ll an air separat or at
an accessi ble point in the pipework
(see illustration on page 52).
2. E quip the system to EN 12975 with
expansion vessel, safety valve and
circulat ion pump.
3. The e xpansion ves sel must be
approved to DIN 4807 and must be
arranged with a heat insulating
loop. The d iaphragms and seals of
the expansion vessel and the
safety valve must be suitable for
the process medium.
For the calculation of the
inlet pressure, see the
"Vitosol" service instr uc-
tions.
4. When operating without Solar-Divi-
con, only use safety valves
designed for 120 °C and a maxi-
mum of 6 bar w hich carry the " S"
(Solar) desi gnation.
5. Make connections pressure and
temperatur e-resistan t ( observe the
max. idle temperature of the collec-
tor).
