Enabling the "Lock controls" (child lock) function
Before locking the controls, e.g. against use by chil-
dren, the function must be enabled once as follows:

Software update
If WiFi is activated on the Viessmann appliance and a
software update is available, the software is automati-
cally updated. The software is transmitted to the
remote control via low power radio and updated. The
remote control then switches off for up to 2 minutes
and restarts.
Note
We recommend connecting the Viessmann appliance
permanently to the WiFi so that the Vitotrol 100-E soft-
ware is always up to date.
Setting the format of the day and time display
You can choose whether the time is shown on the dis-
play in 12-hour or 24-hour format.
You can choose between 2 options for displaying the
days of the week.
Weekday Shown as a number (factory set-
ting)
Setting "NUMBER" (factory setting
for all languages except "English")
Shown as an abbreviation of the
English day of the week
Setting "WORD" (factory setting
