Operating programs
Frost protection is active.
Heating is active.
"Extended heating"/"Extend time phase once"
is active.
DHW is heated according to the time pro-
gram.
DHW heating is permanently off.
DHW heating is permanently on.

While settings are being made.
Time program: Active time phase
Standby
If no settings are made at the remote control for at
least 5 seconds, the display backlighting switches off.
To end standby:
Press any button.
The display lights up. The home screen is displayed.
Locking/unlocking the controls
To activate/deactivate the operating buttons (child
lock), press OK for approx. 3 seconds. The "child lock"
function must be activated once; see page 25.
Operating programs for central heating and DHW heating
Note
The operating programs for central heating and DHW
heating can be set separately.

Room heating

"Heating mode" The rooms of the selected heating circuit
are heated in accordance with the specifica-
tions for the room temperature and the time
program (see chapter "Central heating").
The symbol is no longer dis-
played.
"Standby mode"

No central heating
■
Frost protection for the Viessmann appli-
ance is active.
"Standby mode" can only be activated and
deactivated on the Viessmann appliance.
To switch off heating via the Vitotrol 100-E,
the lowest settings for the temperature lev-
els can only be selected in the "heating
mode" operating program.
DHW heating
DHW heating according to time
program
DHW is heated in accordance with the spec-
ifications for the DHW temperature and the
time program (see chapter "DHW heating").
DHW heating is permanently
on.
DHW is permanently heated to the set DHW
temperature regardless of a time program
(see chapter "DHW heating").
DHW heating is permanently
off.
