ACPIConfiguration
The ACPI Conguration sub-menu allows you to congure the Advanced
Conguration and Power Interface (ACPI) settings. The General ACPI
Conguration is under this sub-menu.
Press [Enter] to launch the General ACPI Conguration screen. Press [Enter]
again to view the ACPI state.
In the above screen, the current setting is displayed. Press [Enter] to change the
ACPI state to use when the system goes to suspend mode.
Available options are:
• S1(POS): Power On Standby. All processor caches are ushed and the
CPU stops executing instructions. The CPU and RAM power are maintained,
however, other devices may be powered down.
• S3(STR): Commonly referred to as Standby or Sleep. RAM is still powered.
