  If your ViewSonic Gateway can't connect to the wireless presentation, here are some things to check: * First, look at the LED lights on the front of the Gateway. If the 'Power' light isn't on, ensure the A/C adapter is properly connected and the outlet is working. You can also try pressing the 'Power' button on the remote. * Check your network connection. * Verify you're connecting to the correct IP address and device if using a wireless network. * Double-check the WEP / WPA password for your wireless network.

  If the remote controller for your ViewSonic Gateway isn't working, try these steps: * Replace the battery with a new CR-2032 lithium battery. * Make sure you're pointing the IR transmitter (at the top of the remote) towards the IR receiver on the Gateway. * Ensure nothing is blocking the IR receiver on the Gateway (labeled ‘Remote’). * Strong or fluorescent light near the IR transmitter/receiver can interfere with the remote's function. Also, the remote might not work properly if you are more than 7 meters away from the receiver. * Check that the IR extending cable is plugged into the ‘IR IN’ jack on the back of the Gateway, not the ‘AUDIO OUT’ jack.

  If you hear unusual noises when your ViewSonic Gateway is running, and especially if you smell something strange or see smoke, immediately unplug the A/C adapter (if possible) and return the Gateway to the dealer from whom you purchased it.
