8. ENVIRONMENTAL AND PRODUCT RECYCLING
The Vileda JetClean fulfils the EU directive 2012/19/EU, covering electrical and electronic appaliances and the
management of its disposal.
The packaging material is entirely recycable, and marked with the recycling symbol. Follow local regulations for
scrapping. Keep the packaging materials (plastic bags, polystyrene parts, etc) out of children's reach, as they are
potentially dangerous.
When the product has reached the end of its life please do not dispose of it with general household waste. To
prevent possible harm to the environment of human from uncontrolled waste disposal, recycle it responsibly to
promote the sustainable reuse of material resources.
The symbol
identifies the Vileda JetClean as a product submitted to the regime of selective electrical appliance
recycling collection.
For more detailed information about treatment, recovery and recycling of this cleaning tool, please contact your
local city office, your household waste disposal service or the shop where you purchased the product.
The product falls under the WEEE Category 4 (large equipment, at least one outer dimension more than 50cm) and
has no built-in battery.
