- Move the stairlift to a position where it does not get
in the way of the assembly procedure, then pass the
cables from the power supply unit through the hole
shown Fig.23a (female connection) and connect them
to their respective contacts (male connection) respect
-
ing the polarity. The contacts have additional female
connectors to take the power line to the next charging
stations (Fig.23b).
- Hide the cables in the rail and insert the cable protec-
tion plate in the contact profile (Fig.24a), cutting the
plate to the right size. Perform this operation on both
sides of the contacts. Then block the charging shoes
in place with the two 2.9x9.5 self-tapping screws sup
-
plied (Fig. 24.b).
- Return the stairlift to the charging station and check
that the brushes’ load and alignment are correct and
will ensure effective contact (Fig. 25a).
WARNING: connection of the rail to earth is
absolutely forbidden
