Valet mode
You can prevent your security system from automatically arming and
trig ger ing by using Valet Mode. This is very useful when washing the
ve hi cle or having it serviced. In Valet Mode, the security system will
not arm, even with the remote trans mit ter, but all convenience functions
(door locks, trunk re lease, etc.) will continue to work nor mal ly.
To enter or exit Valet Mode:
1. Turn the ignition on.
2. Turn the ignition off.
3. Press and release the Valet switch within 10 seconds.
The status LED lights solidly if you are en ter ing Valet Mode, and goes
out if you are exiting Valet Mode.
The remote will respond with 5- flashes of the
icon and 2 beeps
when exiting Valet® Mode.
To enter or exit Valet Mode with the remote:
Open any vehicle door, and then quickly press the following buttons
in the sequence indicated.

again.
The in - vehicle status LED lights solidly if you are entering Valet Mode,
and goes out if you are exiting Valet Mode.
