16 batteries. When
the
battery begins
to
weaken, operating range
is
reduced and
the
LED
on
the
remote
control
dims.

Insert
a
small
slotted
screwdriver or equivalent tool
into
slot
and pry
the
case apart.
Replace
battery, while
verifying
the
correct
polarity
and
then
snap case
back together.
