Problem Fault
Symptoms:
• Tests begin automatically.
• Volume accumulates automatically
without the subject blowing.
• Very small VC or FVC test displayed.
Possible Cause/
Solution: (In
probable order)
• Device(orifusingremoteowhead,the
owhead)isnotstationaryatthestart
of test. Hold it steady until the ‘Ready to
Blow’ prompt appears.
• Return to previous menu and re-enter
the test.
Problem Fault
Symptoms:
• Cannot read screen.
Possible Cause/
Solution: (In

• Ensure the on/off button was pressed.
• The batteries may be low, plug in USB
cable attached to a computer or replace
the batteries.
• Electronics failure. Contact support.
