Connecting to Non-Earth Grounded Devices
When testing devices which are not equipped with an earth grounded chassis, it is necessary to disable the automatic chassis
ground test feature of the 944i. Otherwise the unit will fail the pretest auto-ground check and no further testing will
commence. An alternate method is to provide a low impedance connection between the V LO terminal and the Chassis
Sense terminal. CAUTION! Care must be taken to remove this connection after testing so that the chassis sense is not
defeated when testing earth grounded chassis devices.
