System Configuration
The system configuration function allows the user to: set the clock and clock format, adjust display intensity, control beeper
actuation and select pretest safety checks. For other options and mode selection see "Configuration Switch Settings". To access
the configuration control menu, press the "CNFG" key.
Setting Clock
To set the clock, press the "CNFG" key. The following prompt will appear:
ADJUST:
CLK SAFETY RMP LO-OHM MEG
To set the time or date or adjust the clock format, press the enter key while the "CLK" option is highlighted. The following clock
adjust menu will appear with the currently programmed time and date:

12 01 30 AM
To set the date, use the up/down arrows until the proper date is indicated. To make further adjustments highlight the month, year,
hour, minute, or second and then adjust it using the up/down arrows. To select "AM", "PM" or "MIL" (24 hour format) use the
up/down cursors to scroll through the three choices. When going from "PM" to "MIL" the time will automatically advance 12
hours. When all adjustments have been made, press enter to complete the clock setting procedure

Safety Control Settings
To adjust safety settings select the safety option from the main “CNFG” menu. The display will then prompt with the following
items which may be adjusted: Beep, Arc, SS (safety lead sensing), Lo-ohm (automatic ground testing).
Controlling the HV Warning Beeper
To set the number of high volt warning beeps, select the beep option on the systems configuration menu. When the beep select
menu appears, select the desired number of beeps and press enter.

Arc Detection Sensitivity
To configure the arc detect sensitivity, press the "CNFG" key and select the "SAFETY" option and then the “ARC” option. The
arc detection feature enables the 944i to sense the presence of arcing before catastrophic damage occurs to the DUT. The arc
detection prompt will appear as follows:
SET ARC SENSITIVITY
FAST MED SLOW OFF
This menu allows the user to set the threshold for arc detection. "FAST" sensitivity means that the unit will trigger on lower
amplitude, short duration spikes, while the "SLOW" sensitivity setting requires greater amplitude, longer duration spikes to trigger
the arc detection circuit.
