Select a suitable position for the installation of the
steering head so that you will avoid bending the steer-
ing cable to much. Avoid if at all possible more than
one bend.
Make sure to acieve sufficient space for the steering
wheel and a comfortable driving position.
The steering can be installed either on the starboard
or on the port side of the boat.
NOTE! Remember to locate the shift- and speed con-
trol in a way that the steering cable can be installed
without being bent.
Location of steering head,
mechanical steering
Location of steering pump,
hydraulic steering system
Choose a suitable location for the steering pump.
Check that there is sufficient space for the steering
wheel and pump.
