Display
Set the time format (AM/PM or 24:00)
with the display control buttons.
Date
Use the display control buttons to
choose between the different date
formats:
• year, month, day (yymmdd)
• day, month, year (ddmmyy)
• month, day, year (mmddyy)
Setting, time and date
Press enter. Set the time and date using
the buttons.
NOTE
If the starter key is in stop position, and it
takes more than 30 seconds between
button presses, the setting is interrupted.
NOTE
The clock cannot be altered if the bus is
equipped with a tachograph. This is then
done in the tachograph time setting menu.
NOTE
The time and date menu is available even
when the starter key is in the stop position.
The menu is activated by pressing any of
the buttons on the control unit for at least 1
second. The menu remains active for 30
seconds after the last depression.
Alarm clock
Press enter. Set the time using the
buttons. Finish by selecting ON.
The symbol for the alarm is shown on
the status bar to indicate that the alarm
clock is active.
The alarm clock cannot be set while
driving.
If the starter key is in stop position and it
takes more than 30 seconds between
button depressions, the setting process
is aborted.
Press any of the buttons on the control
unit for at least 1 second to activate the
menu.
Activate
The alarm clock can be enabled, without
changing the time, with the display stalk
buttons. After enabling, the symbol for
enabled alarm clock is displayed on the
status bar.
Deactivate
When the alarm starts, the display shows
the current time and ALARM. It also
warns with an acoustic signal.
The alarm deactivates by pressing the
ESC button or turns off automatically
after 60 seconds.
Trip meter
Two independent driving distances can
be saved; stage 1 and stage 2.
The trip values must be reset before
each measurement.
Reset trip meter
Press enter. Reset trip meter 1 and 2
using the display control buttons.
Average speed
The average road speed is calculated as
the distance driven divided by the time
the engine has been running.
Two average road speeds can be
measured; average road speed 1 and 2.
The values must be reset before each
measurement.
Reset average speed
Press enter. Reset average speed 1 and
2 using the display control buttons.
Estimated time of arrival
The estimated arrival time is calculated
by dividing the remaining distance by the
bus average speed.
Set distance
Press enter. Using the display control
buttons, enter the remaining distance to
drive in km (or miles).
Driving and rest time
Information about driving and resting
times is obtained from the digital
tachograph.
Left symbol indicates XXX and the
information under it varies depending on
the selected activity in the digital
tachograph.
Centre symbol indicates pause and rest
time.
