Pressure control
valve - testing
WARNING
Correct adjustment is important. The non-drive axle load
sensing valves - which control brake pressure to the non-
drive axle brakes - obtain the pressure signal from the non-
drive axle air bellows.
Connect an air supply - via an adjustable pressure
regulator - to ports 1, 41, and 42.
Connect a pressure gauge to port 2.
Gradually increase the supply pressure, and note the valve
output pressure on the gauge:

CAUTION
The valve
adjuster screw is
sealed.
