FIGURE 9-1: EX1266 DMM REMOVAL
NOTE The mainframe can continue to be used once the DMM has been removed.
Installation Procedure
1) Using the guides shown in Figure 9-1, slide the DMM into the mainframe unit until the DMM
is supported by the card guides.
2) Insert the connector removed in step 2 above and insert it into J6 on the input board.
3) Slide the DMM into the mainframe unit the front panel is flush with the front of the chassis.
4) Install the three screws as shown in Figure 9-1 using a #2 Phillips screw driver.
EX1267, EX1268, and EX1269 DMM Removal
Removal Procedure
1) Remove the two screws shown in Figure 9-2 using the #2 Phillips screwdriver. Retain these
screws for re-installation.
2) Use the handle on the front panel of the DMM to slowly remove the DMM from the chassis.
Note that once half of the DMM has been removed, the remove the connector at P2, P3, and
P4.
