What to do if Wabtec Toilets flapper closes immediately after flushing?
If the flapper opens when flushed and closes immediately when the activator is released on your Wabtec toilet, it could be due to excessively high water pressure. Install a water pressure regulating valve, set at 20-50 psi. Alternatively, there may be debris in the check valve at the base of the Air/Water Sequence Valve; in this case, clean the Air/Water Sequence Valve.
