The fuse protects the generator from significant overloads or short circuits. If the
fuse opens, shut down the engine immediately and determine the cause by
starting the engine again. Check the electrical equipment and tools connected
to the generator and make sure that their power requirements do not exceed the
performance limit of the generator or the power limitations of the plug receptacle.
Comment: The protective covers are only missing in the enlarged plug
receptacles for reasons of identification. Never remove the protective cover.
