(on operational readiness of the WLVC)
The WLVC will be ready for operation only when the actual temperature ➂ is within
the preset tolerances. No medium application will be possible before that!
The tolerance range will be calculated from the preset required temperature ➁ plus/minus the preset
“tolerance temperature deviation“ ➄ (see also formula 1). Setting the tolerable temperature deviation ➄
will be done with one decimal point for exactness.

Formula 1 – Calculating the tolerance range
If the actual temperature is not within this tolerance range, an error message will appear at the Optical
Interface O1 (LED 1) as well as activating the digital outlet „Error“ (interface W3 / Pin 10).
The error message can be suppressed by setting a certain time (duration) in the field “time tolerance
error messages“ ➅. This means that an error for leaving the temperature tolerance range during a
process will be indicated only if the actual temperature has not returned to the tolerance range even
after the tolerance time ➅. If the actual temperature returns to the tolerance range within the tolerance
time, the so-far-passed tolerance time will be reset.
If the field “actual temperature“ ➂ does not display any temperature, the heating is not or not properly
connected to the WLVCM module.
Use the heating control parameters ➃ for setting the PID heating control characteristics. Usually they
come as defaults from the factory and are set in such a way that the actual temperature is adjusted to
the required temperature with highest precision.
8.4.2 Application Parameters - Overview
In the area Application Parameters, the user can set process-relevant parameters which have a direct
impact on the application result. Figure 10 gives you an overview.
