11.3 Electrode Setting
When removing or replacing the nozzle, move the electrodes forward to avoid the risk of
damage. The electrodes are slackened by unscrewing the brass post that passes from the
electrode holder out of the side of the burner. When work is complete, ensure the electrodes are
reset as shown and secured by tightening the brass post.
The positioning of the electrodes should then be checked. The correct position for each
burner is shown below.
