13. If winch fairlead is already installed, remove and
replace with the plow roller fairlead. Removal of
the hook from the cable is necessary for this step.
See Figure 18.
14. Install the plow roller fairlead positioned with the
larger roller on top. Use the 3/8” x 1” long carriage
bolts, thick spacer washers and 3/8” nylon lock
nuts. Spacers to be located between fairlead
assembly and mounting flange on bumper. See
Figure 19.

Do NOT operate the winch when routing
the cable in or out of the rollerfairlead.
Operating the winch without the hook
and hook strap can cause extreme bodily
injury to the extremities such as the
hands and fingers. The winch needs to
be off and switched to freespool when
handling the winch cable without the
hook.
