9. PC SOFTWARE
The WaveMon Reader software is an easy-to-use tool with two main functions:
• Displaying and downloading recorded measurements.
• Conguration of the device.
9.1 Installation
The software is available in the USB key in the box. We recommend,
however, you register in Wavecontrol’s Intranet where you can nd the
latest version (exclusive service for registered customers, see Appendix 1).
Before connecting the WaveMon RF to your PC, install the WaveMon Reader
software by running the 'WaveMon_Setup.msi' le. This will install the software
with the necessary drivers. When the installation is complete, connect the
WaveMon RF. Your PC will recognise the WaveMon RF and nish installing the
drivers automatically.
System requirements:
• Microsoft Windows 7 or later.
• Microsoft .NET Framework 4 (4.5 recommended).
• At least 2 GB RAM.
9.2 Displaying information
The rst step is to run the
WaveMon Reader program. The
main screen will show a picture
of the WaveMon RF and prompt
you to connect it to your PC via
the USB port.
