X. Controller maintenance
It is very important to take good care of the controller according to the following instructions:
• Protect the controller from water infiltration and immersion.
Note: If you suspect that water has seeped into the case, turn off the battery immediately and continue
without power assistance. You can restart it as soon as the controller is dry.
• Do not shake, knock, or drop the controller.
WARNING: do not open the controller casing. Any attempt to open, modify, or adjust
the controller unit will void the warranty. Please ask your retailer or a qualified
professional to carry out repairs
Any modification to the configuration of the electric management system, in particular
a change to the speed limit, is strictly prohibited and you will lose the guarantee of your
bicycle.
