8.2.9. Change the oil in
the exciter
Start the engine and allow the engine to warm up for
a few minutes.
Switch o󰀨 the engine.
Tilt the machine slightly.
Place a suitable collection vessel under the machine.
Loosen the oil drain plug (1).
Allow the oil to drain.
Tilt the machine in the other direction.
Fill fresh oil into the exciter in accordance with the specication.
Close the oil drain plug.
8.2.10. Change the fuses
Take o󰀨 the dashboard (1). To do so, remove the 4 screws (2).
ATTENTION! The instruments are connected to the
machine via cables.
Remove the dashboard towards the rear carefully so as
not to damage the cables.
Remove the protective caps (3) of the fuse holder.
Replace defective fuses.
Attach the protective caps to the fuse holder.
Install the dashboard.
8.2.11. Use a permanent
charger
Open the protective cover (1) of the charging socket.
Connect the permanent charger (2) to the charging socket.
Connect the permanent charger to the appropriate mains
supply.
Comply with the manufacturer’s operating manual
when using the permanent charger! The operating
manual is included with every permanent charger.
