What to do if my Webster SC Burner does not start?
    • Q
      qrodgersSep 12, 2025
If your Webster Burner isn't starting, there are several potential causes. First, ensure the main disconnect switch is closed. Check for any loose electrical connections and tighten them. Also, verify that the operating controls haven't been tripped, and reset the operating limits if necessary. Finally, check the fuel supply and reset the switches if there's high or low fuel pressure.

Why can't I obtain capacity on gas with my Webster Burner?
    • K
      Kenneth JacksonSep 12, 2025
If you cannot obtain capacity on gas with your Webster Burner, consider these causes: the wrong spring range in the regulator (install higher spring range), too many elbows before the control valve (rework piping to reduce elbows), a gas line that is too small, causing a high pressure drop (use a larger pipe size), a supply pressure lower than stated (increase supply pressure), a supply pressure that drops too low at high fire (use larger gas line sizes / orifice in service regulator), or a regulator that is too small for the flow and pressure (change the regulator).

Why can't I obtain rated input on oil firing (pressure atomized) oil f for my Webster SC?
    • D
      Dr. Andrew HobbsSep 16, 2025
If you cannot obtain rated input on oil firing (pressure atomized) for your Webster Burner, the oil nozzles might be plugged (replace nozzles) or the by-pass seal on the nozzle might be leaking (replace nozzles).
