5. Assembly of the VertiTex WeiTop
5.1 Casing fixing VertiTex WeiTop
• Remove the cover cap on the motor side (unscrew the M3x8 grub
screw).
• Hang and position the VertiTex along the gutter of the WeiTop
Terrazza or WeiTop Vivienda.
• Using a 3.7mm drill bit, drill the holes into the two outer edges
through the upper section web, just above the casing bulge
(where it cannot be seen), which are needed to attach the box
section to the gutter section.
• Determine the position of the Ø 9 – 10 mm drill holes to run the
cable through the gutter, and drill the holes.
• Make sure you take the state of the reverse side of the gutter
into account.
• Place the cable grommet in the drill hole in the gutter.
• Secure the casing in place using one 4.2 x 16 self-tapping screw
per side.
• Run the cable through the drill hole (see photo).
Note:
All electrical components must be laid in such a way that
they can never be permanently in contact with water.
Recommendation: place them on a leaf filter, or fix them
on a groove inside the gutter.

5. Montage de VertiTex WeiTop
5.1 Fixation du caisson VertiTex WeiTop
• Retirer le cache de protection côté moteur (dévisser la tige filetée
M3 x 8).
• Accrocher le store VertiTex à la gouttière du WeiTop Terrazza
ou du WeiTop Vivienda et le centrer.
• À l’aide d’un foret de 3,7 mm, percer les trous nécessaires à la
fixation du profilé de caisson au niveau du profilé de gouttière,
dans les deux bords supérieurs au travers de l’entretoise profilé,
juste au-dessus du bombement du caisson (zone non visible).
• Déterminer l’emplacement du trou de 9–10 mm de diamètre
pour le passage du câble dans la gouttière et percer le trou.
• Tenir compte de l’état à l’arrière de la gouttière.
• Placer le passe-câble dans le trou de la gouttière.
• Sécuriser le caisson avec une vis à tôle 4,2x16 de chaque côté.
• Introduire le câble dans le trou (photo).
Remarque :
Tous les composants électriques doivent être posés de
sorte qu’ils ne soient jamais en contact permanent avec de
l’eau.
Recommandation : Les placer sur la grille anti-feuilles ou
les fixer dans la gouttière.
