Why won't my Wen Portable Generator start?

  There are several reasons why your Wen Portable Generator might not start: * The engine switch might be set to OFF. Ensure it is set to ON. * The fuel valve might be turned to OFF. Ensure it is set to ON. * The oil level might be low. Add or replace oil. * The engine might be out of fuel. Add fuel. * The engine might be filled with contaminated or old fuel. Drain the fuel tank and fill it with fresh fuel. * The spark plug might be dirty or broken. Clean or replace the spark plug. * The carburetor might be air locked. Shut off the fuel valve, remove the bolt from the bottom of the carburetor, take off the carburetor bowl to allow it to reset, then replace the carburetor bowl and reinstall the bolt. * There might be a ghost in the generator. Persuade the ghost to leave.

Clean the air filter as necessary. * Check if the spark arrestor is blocked. Clean with a metal brush as necessary. * There might be gunk in the carburetor preventing a consistent fuel/air mixture. Use "gunk remover" spray on the carburetor jets.
