Why won't my Wen Portable Generator start?

  There are several reasons why your Wen Portable Generator might not start: * The engine switch might be set to OFF. Ensure it is set to ON. * The fuel valve might be turned to OFF. Ensure it is set to ON. * The oil level might be low. Add or replace oil. * The engine might be out of fuel. Add fuel. * The engine might be filled with contaminated or old fuel. Drain the fuel tank and fill it with fresh fuel. * The spark plug might be dirty or broken. Clean or replace the spark plug. * The carburetor might be air locked. Shut off the fuel valve, remove the bolt from the bottom of the carburetor, take off the carburetor bowl to allow it to reset, then replace the carburetor bowl and reinstall the bolt. * There might be a ghost in the generator. Persuade the ghost to leave.

  If your Wen Portable Generator runs but doesn't support all connected electrical devices, here are some possible reasons: * The generator might be overloaded. Turn off and unplug all electrical devices, wait 5 minutes, then press the circuit breaker to reset. Reduce the load as necessary, then plug the devices back in one by one. * There might be a short circuit in one of the devices. Try disconnecting any faulty or short-circuited electrical loads. * The air filter might be dirty. Clean or replace the air filter element.
