Why Wen Portable Generator runs but there is no electrical output?

  There are several reasons why your Wen Portable Generator might run without producing electricity. It could be due to a tripped circuit breaker from an overload, or the inverter might have cut off power for protection. Try turning off and unplugging all electrical devices, waiting 5 minutes, and then pressing the circuit breaker button to reset it. Also, verify the total wattage of your devices doesn't exceed the generator's capacity. Bad connecting cords or a faulty electrical device could also be the cause. Check the power and extension cords for damage, and try connecting a different device. If none of these steps work, it might be an internal generator problem.

  If your Wen Portable Generator won't start, there are several things to check. First, make sure the engine switch and fuel valve are both set to the ON position. Check the oil level and add or replace oil if needed. Ensure the generator has fuel and that the fuel isn't old or contaminated; if it is, drain the tank and refill with fresh fuel. Inspect the spark plug; clean or replace it if it's dirty or broken. If the carburetor is air locked, shut off the fuel valve, remove the bolt from the bottom of the carburetor, take off the carburetor bowl to allow it to reset, then replace the bowl and reinstall the bolt. Finally, ensure the battery is not dead by connecting it to a trickle charger.
